In order to ensure smooth joining, please follow these steps:
NOTE: Use GOOGLE CHROME - technical issues MAY occur with other browsers (Mainly Cốc Cốc)
Step 1: Click the join class button at the bottom of this page. Step 2: Click "Accept cookies"
Step 3: Choose "I AGREE"
Step 4: Click on "USE MICROPHONE AND CAMERA"
Step 5: Click on "ALLOW WHILE VISITING SITE" so you won't have to do it next time!
Step 6:
- Put in the password: olo0 into "MEETING PASSCODE".
- Fill in your Facebook/WhatsApp name in "YOUR NAME".
- Click "REMEMBER MY NAME FOR FUTURE MEETINGS" so you won't have to do it next time!
- After all that, click "JOIN".
Step 7: You need to select the correct type of microphone and speaker that you are using (whether it’s the built-in ones on your computer/phone, headphones, external mic, earbuds...) so that you can hear and speak properly.
NOTE:
To ensure we all have a smooth lesson without misunderstandings like “hello teacher, I can’t hear you, hello teacher and everyone, can you hear me...” — which wastes everyone’s time and makes the lesson less effective — please kindly CHECK YOUR MIC AND SPEAKER EVERY TIME YOU JOIN CLASS by clicking on “TEST SPEAKER & MICROPHONE.”
Step 8: After clicking on "TEST SPEAKER & MICROPHONE," a window will appear. The first window is for testing your speaker.
A piece of music or sound will play. You NEED to be able to hear this sound, and the "OUTPUT LEVEL" should show a blue-green bar as in the picture.
* If the blue-green bar appears and you can hear the sound clearly, click "YES."
* If the blue-green bar does not appear and you cannot hear any sound, you will need to select another speaker by clicking "NO, TRY ANOTHER SPEAKER" so the system can automatically switch to a different speaker for you. Or you can manually choose a different speaker by clicking "SELECT SPEAKER."
A list of available speakers will appear for you to choose from. Keep selecting different speakers until you can hear the system sound and see the blue-green bar. Then click "YES" to complete the process and join the class.
Step 9: To test your microphone, you need to say a few words and then stop. Similar to the speaker test: * If you hear the playback of your voice and the blue-green bar in the "INPUT LEVEL" section lights up, then it’s successful. Click "YES" to complete joining the class. * If you don’t hear your voice and the "INPUT LEVEL" bar does not light up in blue-green, you can click "NO, TRY ANOTHER MICROPHONE" or manually select another microphone under "SELECT MICROPHONE" until you can hear your voice and see the blue-green bar. Then click "YES" to complete joining the class.
Step 10: If everything is working properly, the window saying "YOUR DEVICE IS WORKING PROPERLY" will appear. You just need to click "END TEST" to complete joining the class.
‼️BONUS: You can choose a background or blur your background if there are people behind you or your room is a bit messy (though honestly, no one really cares 😄), or simply just because you like it by: * Clicking "BLUR MY BACKGROUND" to blur the background behind you or * Selecting "CHOOSE BACKGROUND" to pick a different background from the available options.
